Just got it, GRILLS NOT CAST IRON, are CAST ALUMINUM |
"Pair of fully adjustable 20,000 BTU burners with porcelain-coated cast-iron grates" is False, the grate is Cast Alumimun, as well as the griddle.
I ordered 2nd Cast Iron grill, and it is cast iron and much heavier.
FYI for others who order 2nd grill at time of purchase. |

Great Camping Grill |

This has to be the best grill available. Camping friends have one and we were impressed so ordered one thru Sportsclothingrack. This grill is fantastic. We put whole wrapped potatoes on the griddle side and they get done faster than in the oven. We also cook onions, squash, jalapenos, asparagus and any vegetable on it. It's so easy. We grill hamburgers, steaks, etc. on the grill. Clean up is easy. I clean it right after using it. I cannot tell you how pleased we are with this grill. The stand folds up and we put it in the bottom of the rv along with the grill. We try to use it every day for it is actually fun using this grill. Well worth the money and I cannot say enough positive things about it. |

I ordered this grill recently and was disappointed in the details about the product description. It specifically states that it comes with cast iron porcelin coated grates. One is a griddle and the other is a grill which I understand. I ordered the extra grill, cast iron, porcelin coated, for more grilling space but I ordered it with the understanding that the grill had cast iron grates. When my grill arrived it had cast aluminum. So now I will have one cast iron and one aluminum grill. If they are going to ship it with cast aluminum it needs to be specified in the product description so people can order matching items. |

I bought the blue grill because of the favorable reviews, and I must say that I am not dissapointed. The end poduct, whether it is chicken, steak, etc., is very good. I do not seem to have trouble closing the lid and cooking; the handle does not over heat, but I've only grilled for 10-15 minutes. The only thing that I'm not crazy about is the clean up. I found that if you soak the grate for 10 minutes or so that it cleans rather easily. Putting water into the grease tray works well, but the problem is where does one empty it?? Overall, I really do like the grill and would buy it again. By the way the set up was a snap. |
